Motivational Speaker

As a Motivational Speaker I have spoken to small schools through to huge corporate conferences.

I started speaking in my home town of Kingaroy in the year 2003 to the South Burnett Rotary Club, which quickly lead to being invited to speak at a few local schools. The progression from small businesses and schools to National Conferences took less than 12months. It was an insanely fast journey and one that I absolutely thrived in.

Jump ahead to today, My 18years as a Motivational Speaker has seen me speak to audiences as small as just 4 people in a huge board room through to on stage in front of 3500 people or more.
I have even been called up on stage infant of 24 thousand screaming football fans at my beloved Suncorp Stadium to speak moments before a Brisbane Broncos NRL home game.

I have been lucky enough to share my story to Primary School students through to High School and University students right through to small and large business and government events. Conferences and major fundraising events, and even been called into meeting and private discussions with Australian Federal Political parties to discuss legislations and reforms for Disability related issues.

I have been honoured to speak to companies as large as Qantas, Toyota, NRL as well as the Queensland Police and the Australian Federal Police just to name a few.

I feel I am in a unique position to be able to share my story and relate to any age group or demographic from primary school students as I said earlier through to retired seniors social clubs.
Most speakers stick to one demographic however my story resonates and has had an enormous impact on everyone who hears it so it is something that I am really proud about being able to jump from a serious conference to the next day hanging out and speaking to primary school students who may be struggling with bullying then the next day I’ll jump to a professional rugby league club to try and motivate and inspire them. I thrive on the challenge of being able to speak to all demographics and have a positive life changing impact on all who hear my presentation.

Raising the Bar:

This is most popular presentation for Business event / Conferences ,  Charity events, Sporting Clubs, Schools or Universities. Basically any audience looking to be inspired with a presentation that is certain to be remembered.
If the goal is to inspire, motivate and move the audience you need Raising the Bar.

This presentation details the highs and lows of my life and focuses in on the mental keys that have been crucial to rising above all the insurmountable challenges faced.

Dead Man Working:

My very first ever presentation was called Dead Man Working.

The immediate success of that first speaking engagement resulted in being booked for a national disability employment conference. Which immediately lead to becoming Ambassador for Disability Employment Australia and an international speaking career began.

The impact of Dead Man Working can not be understated. It is a deeply personal powerful presentation.

Similar to Raising the Bar this presentation is a very moving and empowering presentation however it is much more raw and emotional detailing the highs and devastating lows and how Dean dared to dream to forfeit his goal to become a motivational speaker.
